In the spirit of this, our company was established on 1 July 2007 under the name MÁV-START Co. (MÁV-START Private Corporation), which is the new passenger train operator. In accordance with our mission, we wish to meet the worldwide increasing transportation competition and the growing needs with services of a continually increasing quality. We believe that the organisation representing a new, passenger-centred approach and the operation in an independent form offer bigger opportunities for the creation of this than until now.
