The Quality Policy of MÁV Co’s Infrastructure Business Unit

MÁV Infrastructure Business Unit is committed to the efficient railway operation based on our traditions, obligations and role played in the international railway traffic. With our activity and services we contribute to the operation of modern Hungarian Railways at European level. We do our best to meet the expectations of the public, of the customers and of our owner. In accordance with the above, we formulate our basic principles as follows:

By the permanent improvement of the exploitation of railway infrastructure and by the operation of other resources at optimal cost level, we ensure the fulfillment of the expectations of the public and of the owner.

We aim to provide our services securing the reliable availability of the infrastructure equipment and of the buildings.

Customer-oriented operation

We are committed to continuous development in order to meet the expectations of our partners, to provide services in accordance with aims of the traffic policy. Therefore we periodically enquire our employees and measure the level of customer satisfaction.

In order to fulfill the above quality requirements, we have introduced and we are operating a QM system based on the ISO 9001. We monitor and analyze regularly the quality level of our services. We develop the commitment and quality-oriented thinking of our employees with training and education. When carrying into effect our Quality Policy we try to save and amend the built-up and natural environment in order to contribute to the development of quality of the social environment.
